A good starting point when setting a price for your number plate is to look at similar registrations currently advertised on the market, these are effectively your competition.

Using the search tools on our website, you can quickly explore registrations with similar letters, formats or styles to your own. This will help you identify the current price range for registrations similar to yours, allowing you to price competitively.

Tip: When comparing registrations, you can save similar plates by clicking the heart icon next to them. These will be stored in your Favourites list, allowing you to quickly review comparable registrations and see where your own plate may sit within the market.

If you happen to see your own registration already listed while researching prices, please do not worry.

This can sometimes occur if the plate was previously advertised by a past owner or appears within an older listing in our system.

When you submit your registration for sale we automatically check the status of any existing listings. If the record is outdated it will simply be replaced. If another active listing exists, our team will investigate and resolve the situation for you.
