A Number Plate That's Super Personal to Andres - J18 ADC
Sometimes the most meaningful private number plates are the ones that have a special connection to their owner - they don't need to be obvious.
For Andres, J18 ADC is the perfect combination of two things that make it uniquely his. The J18 represents his birthday, 18th January, while ADC are his initials.
Important Numbers and Dates
Make the whole registration mark mean something to you! Every UK registration mark includes numbers, so why not make them meaningful too?
Some numbers can look like letters, such as 4 for A or 5 for S, but they can also represent lucky numbers, birthdays, anniversaries or other special dates.
Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, house number, lucky number or a year you'll never forget, combining meaningful numbers with letters can make your private plate even more personal.

A gift that becomes part of someone's journey - OO18 ASH
Ashley's family wanted to give her something meaningful that she could keep for years. They searched together, saved their favourites and compared ideas until OO18 ASH stood out.
"As soon as we saw it, we all agreed. I loved that it had my name in it and felt like something that was really mine,"
"We also loved the OO at the beginning because it gives the plate the look of a much more expensive dateless registration."
Ashley explains.
Her mum had a few reasons for thinking it was the perfect birthday and Christmas combined gift.
"We've bought Ashley all sorts of gadgets and games in the past, but they're out of date very quickly. We wanted to give her something she could take through life, even if she gets married and changes her surname
But for her grandad, there was a more sentimental reason.
"I still remember my first car and I've often wished I could have it back. Your first car represents that first taste of freedom. With this plate, Ashley can keep those memories and take a little piece of that first car with her wherever life takes her."

A Fresh Look for a Car She Loves - Cover Plate - RCZ419
Using a private plate to personalise an older car
Maya had no plans to change her car. She liked it, it suited her and she knew it inside out.
"I've had it for years and still really loved it. I just fancied giving it a bit of a refresh." "The standard registration was a bit ugly"
Why Do People Choose Cover Plates?
Not every private number plate needs to have a personal meaning. In fact, that's sometimes that's the whole point!
A dateless or suitably aged private registration mark can disguise your vehicle's real age (although you can't make it look younger!), giving it a fresher appearance. Cover plates are also popular with drivers who want to change their registration marks for privacy reasons or following number plate cloning. They can also make vehicles easier to remember, recognise, or distinguish from others.

"I'm forever paying for parking, so having a registration that's easy to remember is brilliant. No more trying to remember a random combination of letters and numbers!"
It's a little reminder that even the most ordinary journeys can become treasured family memories.
